In molded fiber production, they help prepare raw materials for products such as trays, packaging inserts, egg cartons, and protective cushioning. The machine usually consists of a disintegration tank, rotor assembly, motor, frame, and control system. The tank is designed to withstand continuous mixing and to hold the required amount of pulp and water. The rotor or blade system is the core component that creates the disintegrating action. Depending on the model, the machine may be built for batch operation or continuous operation. Some designs include temperature control, variable speed settings, or discharge valves to improve flexibility and performance.

One major advantage of a pulp disintegrator is its ability to reduce material preparation time. Manual breaking and mixing of pulp are inefficient and inconsistent, while mechanical disintegration produces more reliable results. It also helps improve fiber dispersion, which is important for forming smooth, strong, and uniform paper or molded products. In addition, the equipment can support recycling efforts by converting waste paper into useful raw material, reducing reliance on fresh fiber sources.

Proper operation and maintenance are important for long service life. Operators should follow the recommended loading capacity, water ratio, and running time to avoid overloading the machine. Regular inspection of blades, bearings, and seals is necessary to maintain performance and prevent wear. Cleaning the tank and removing debris also help ensure stable operation and product quality.
