The Intelligent Automatic Tensile Strength Tester is a precision mechatronic instrument for measuring tensile strength, wet tensile strength, and other parameters of paper and paperboard. It features a horizontal design that is structurally compact and fully functional. Its innovative pneumatic clamping structure ensures perfectly flat specimen gripping, eliminating the human error common to manual clamps—a design that fills a gap in the domestic market. Driven by an imported servo motor, the testing speed is digitally adjustable from 1 to 420 mm/min. It has a measuring range of 0-30 N, an accuracy of 0.01 N, and a resolution of up to 0.001 N. Through a large color touchscreen, it displays real-time tensile curves and automatically calculates tensile force, tensile strength, elongation, breaking length, tensile energy absorption (TEA), and related indices. It offers powerful data processing, automatic reset, and can print statistical reports including average, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation, making it ideal for quality testing and R&D in the papermaking, packaging, tissue, and tobacco sheet industries.
