Product Introduction
The AT-XTB series slot-die coating tester, meticulously developed by Shandong Annimet Instrument Co., Ltd., is a high-precision slot-die extrusion coating tester applied broadly in organic photovoltaic cells, organic field-effect transistors, conductive polymers, nanowires and nanotubes, 2D materials, OLEDs and perovskite LEDs, perovskite photovoltaic cells, lithium-ion battery electrolytes and electrodes, and dye-sensitized solar cells. Since conventional lab coaters are limited by blade adjustment and base plate flatness, making nano-scale coating difficult, this slot-die coater uses various platform options (inspection-grade granite, vacuum adsorption, precision die steel, glass, etc.) and a non-contact slot-die head. Wet film thickness is controlled by three factors: feed pressure, slot gap adjustment, and the clearance between the slot-die head and the base plate. The advanced version adds a height regulation and feedback software system, greatly improving coating precision and uniformity. Wet film thickness can reach 1 micron, and dry film thickness can reach the nanometer level. It has been widely adopted in domestic optical film coating labs for R&D and sampling.

Servo Precision Drive: Imported precision-ground lead screw with linear guideway and servo motor; coating speed continuously adjustable from 0-100 mm/s, stroke 10-300 mm, for smooth motion and excellent repeatability.

FAQ
1. Uneven coating thickness
Slot-die head gap deviation, substrate misalignment, or unstable slurry flow. Calibrate head parallelism; realign substrate; stabilize slurry temperature and viscosity.
2. Vertical streaks, stringing
Slot-die head clogging, particles on lip, or air bubbles in slurry. Disassemble and clean the head lip; degas and filter slurry beforehand.
3. Irregular edge coating, varying width
Edge guide misaligned, uneven web tension, or inconsistent output at both ends of the head. Reposition edge guides; adjust wind/unwind tension; fine-tune head flow rate.
4. Missing spots, skip coating
Insufficient feed pressure, blocked feed line, or low slurry level. Increase feed air pressure; clear lines; replenish slurry.
5. Pinholes, pits on surface
Air bubbles in slurry, dusty coating environment, or dirty substrate surface. Vacuum-degas slurry; maintain cleanroom conditions; clean substrate.
6. Unstable pump output, intermittent flow
Air in metering pump, line leakage, or dried material in pump cavity. Purge air from lines; check seals; clean pump body.
7. Slurry backflow, overflow
Excessive pressure, stuck return valve, or improper line layout. Reduce delivery pressure; service valve; rearrange tubing.
8. Intermittent head dispensing
Clogged feed inlet or filter screen; slurry sedimentation/clumping. Replace/clean filter; stir slurry evenly; clear feed inlet.
9. Coating stage movement jerky or noisy
Dust/dry guide rails, debris on lead screw, or loose drive belt. Clean and lubricate rails; clear debris; tension drive belt.
10. Inaccurate or fluctuating coating speed
Servo parameter drift, VFD fault, or excessive load. Recalibrate speed parameters; check electronic cooling.
11. Substrate wrinkling, wandering
Inconsistent unwind/wind tension or guide rollers not parallel. Adjust tension uniformly; correct guide roller parallelism.
12. Slow heating, inaccurate temperature
Aged heating elements or poor thermocouple contact. Service heating module; fix and calibrate temperature probe.
13. Touchscreen unresponsive, frozen
Loose wiring, system lag, or unstable voltage. Restart device; check terminal connections; stabilize power supply.
