Product Introduction
This instrument is manufactured according to the TAPPI-UM403 international standard and GB/T 26203-2010 national standard, with data verified point-by-point against imported equipment. It is suitable for testing the internal bond strength of various paper and paperboard. Test principle: a paperboard specimen, subjected to impact at a specific angle and weight, absorbs a certain amount of energy, which indicates the internal bond strength. Up to 5 specimens can be tested simultaneously, with results expressed in multiple standard units, digitally displayed, and printable.
Key Features
Multi-Standard Compliance: Manufactured per TAPPI-UM403, TAPPI-T833, and GB/T 26203-2010, with data verified against imported equipment, ensuring internationally comparable results.
5-Group Simultaneous Testing: Tests 5 specimen groups at once, significantly improving efficiency and suitable for batch quality inspection and comparison testing.
High-Precision Angle Control: Impact angle of 90° with 0.01° accuracy, using magnetic positioning structure for accurate, drift-free angle reset without frequent adjustment over long-term use.
Imported Sensor: Imported sensor with specialized testing software ensures accurate, stable results, making it one of the few domestic instruments capable of matching imported equipment test data.
Multi-Unit Result Display: Supports ft.lb/1000 in², Kg.cm, J/m², and other units with free switching to meet reporting requirements of different standard systems.
Convenient Leveling: Equipped with leveling adjustment device for easy horizontal adjustment during installation or relocation, ensuring consistent testing conditions.

FAQ
1. No display, no power
Loose power plug, blown fuse, or faulty power switch. Check 220V supply line; replace fuse with same rating; re-plug power cord securely.
2. Touchscreen unresponsive / buttons not working
System lag, touchscreen calibration offset, or dusty/aged buttons. Restart instrument; enter settings to recalibrate touchscreen; clean dust from button gaps.
3. Unable to zero before testing / zero drift
Sensor under external pressure, instrument not level, or bench vibration interference. Remove foreign objects from press head; adjust leveling feet; allow to settle then re-zero.
4. Test results too high (bond strength too large)
Non-standard specimen bonding, tape not fully pressed, or test speed set too slow. Prepare specimens with rolling device per standard procedure; evenly re-press tape; verify standard test speed parameters.
5. Test results too low (bond strength too small)
Damp/delaminated specimen, test head not centered, or sensor uncalibrated. Replace with undamaged, dry specimens; adjust head position to align with specimen center; periodically calibrate force sensor.
6. Poor data repeatability, fluctuating values
Inconsistent specimen preparation technique each time, temperature/humidity not equilibrated, or instrument not level. Standardize rolling count and force; condition specimens at constant temperature and humidity for 4 hours; level the instrument.
7. Press head up/down movement jerky or unsmooth
Dust on guide rails, dry lead screw, or paper debris jamming. Clean guide rail dust; apply small amount of special lubricant to lead screw; remove debris.
8. Rolling device not pressing firmly / tape not sticking
Insufficient roller pressure, dirty/worn roller surface, or expired tape. Adjust roller counterweight pressure; clean roller surface; replace with qualified special test tape.
9. Sudden stop or error during test
Limit switch triggered, force value exceeded range, or program error. Check if press head stroke is exceeded; verify specimen strength within instrument range; restart and restore factory settings.
